In summer the weather is very nice, with temperatures around 25°C and water 17°C. Wetsuit is needed 3/4 mm.
Recommended wind for kitesurfing is wind coming from S, SSW and SW .
There is Thermal wind at Pichidangui, Chile.
South wind is the best in Chile. 10-20 knots most of the time from September to March. In this bay several directions are sideshore. Near the peninsula is gusty but some hundreds of meters to the south inside the bay is much better. The wind is usually between 10-15 mph in off-season and 7 mph more during season.
Wind usually blows from S, SSW and SW on the spot.
