"I had the most amazing summer thanks to Cascade Kiteboarding. I came into this sport with literally no experience on a board of any kind and Alec had me up and riding by the end of summer. Nadja is a fantastic instructor as well, and very much appreciated and empowering learning the sport from a woman’s perspective. They both are incredibly patient and helpful. Everyone I interacted with at Cascade was wonderful, and Katie is so helpful with scheduling. I can’t wait for next summer to keep up my learning with them!"

"This was my 4th trip in 2022 for kiteboarding lessons after getting hooked in Puerto Rico earlier in the year. So I have had lessons with multiple outfits in lots of places. Cascade seemed to be recommended more when I was researching Hood River. Will have to say they lived up to their good reputation and more. Katie runs a well-organized outfit. She responded promptly to my questions prior to the trip, and during the trip. I had 5 lessons with Luke and my last one was with Mel. Both were great. Well prepared; on time for the lessons (actually usually early). Both had a good feel for where I was in my kiteboarding progression. The equipment was great and the fit was good. Believe me, the quality and the fit make a difference. Shout out also to Haley, Jake and Ty - Admin staff who were very helpful. (Sorry if I left anyone out - whole outfit was good)."

"My 18 y.o. son and I took 4 days of wing foil lessons and had an amazing experience. We went for being total novices, to being comfortable with the wing, riding the board (taxing), gybing and beginning to transition to foiling in just a few days. Payton, Bo, Kathy & Sensi were all amazing instructors. Having the instructor nearby on the jet-ski, with a 2-way radio, is very hard to beat. And being able to ride upwind for a beginner is amazing. I'm sure some of the other schools in H.R. are great, but we'll definitely be coming back to Cascade the next chance we get."

"I had a great experience at Cascade Kiteboarding during my first Wing lesson with Bo. The communication was excellent before my lesson, check-in and introduction were easy and fast, and I spent most of my lesson time in the water. The helmet with built-in communications allowed my instructor to give me live feedback during the lesson. I was very pleased to progress significantly during my lesson, going from never having held a wing to being able to stand and ride in both directions for up to 20-30 seconds. I look forward to progressing to the foil board next time!"

"Our son had taken a couple lessons from friends of friends but was still having a hard time with his kiting - especially staying up wind. His first lesson with Cascade was awesome and as he put it, “they could tell what I was doing wrong and exactly what I needed to do to fix it”. So we signed him up for a follow up progression lesson and he’s doing so much better. It’s great to see how much more comfortable and confident he is on the water now."
