"Just finished four days of wing-foiling instruction. A professional school with the correct mix of instruction , safety and supervision. Susi initially got in touch to confirm the lessons, and welcomed us to the school upon arrival. Everyone was friendly and enthusiastic. The level of instruction from Luca and Tata was excellent, and it was an absolute pleasure to learn here. The added benefit of being followed by a jet ski gives you added confidence that you won’t be blown to Morocco, or further. We will definitely be back here next year, and look forward to it already. Thanks guys. 😀👍"

"I was here on a day when the waves were too tough for me in Sotavento. I found the place really nice and cosy. I am no expert, just starting footstraps and now waterstarts, which I finally managed exactly HERE (big smile!) after a couple of hours of trials. This is not the biggest centre but I liked the family atmosphere, good changing area, lockers wifi and shadow area. I got a few useful tips from Vladimir. While practicing I did damage a sail, and paid for it. The cost of the repair was in line with what I paid in Crete last summer (I am a serial offender) so no complaints. I did not need rescue so no comments on that. Rental prices seem in line with other places. I think this spot is better for people of my level than Sotavento and would make it my choice next time."

"This is the place my son learned Kite surfing! Muchas Gracias Matas! If you are looking for a place and a school to start with kitesurf or wingfoil yourself, Matas Bay is my recommendation. They offer only private lessons, but to very fair prices, especially when compared to other schools,where you are often sharing one kite and one tracher with 3 other people. The dedicated teachers acompany you by jet ski and advising you via radio connection. If you get into any trouble help is only a few seconds away. This is the most efficient as well as the safest was to learn. And the most fun! You can focus on yourself, ignoring loosing hight, because you are carried upwind by jet sky from time to time. For all expierence levels this is a beatiful spot, most of the time,i.e. given the most dominant wind direction which is basically identical with sotavento, you can enjoy flat water! Under off shore cond. Of course 😉 But as said before they have jet ski rescue and you can book a rescue package as well. The school is much more private and you feel more surfer spirit as elsewhere as the school is run by the owner, who love this sport as well... See you around! 🤙"
