Beach and Tide Conditions
Recommended tide for kitesurfing is High Tide,Coming Tide,Falling Tide .
Bali / Kite Beach, Indonesia is a Shallow, Flat, Chop and Medium waves spot.
The launching/landing area is reported to be of Medium size.
Wide, with sand by the shore and hard ground with some grass. We try to keep it clean as much as we can. Entrance by the Mertasari Temple.
Lagoon with flat water and waves on the reef. The wind on the beach is sideonshore, mostly the waves hit the reef with the same direction of the wind but at the 2 edges they wrap around and you got about an angle of 45° between the waves and the wind. Great for jumping not really for wave riding. The bottom is mostly sandy with few scattered stones. Good with medium-low to high tides. In low tide become dry but there is a deep water channel ridable at any tide just 150m from the beach. Really easy to walk to with the kite in the air.
