Following down through the Mayan Riviera you can ride from NE to S, and sometimes there are reefs + or - close from the beach which in some cases can produce flat water. Winds are not very constant generally and can be ridden from 7-30, been mostly 12-18 knts. This during the winter months, December to March. March to May to June, mostly SE. July to August, rather no wind and September to December, hurricane season.
