Comming from the South via the A9 towards Alkmaar. From there follow signs to Egmond and later to Egmond aan Zee. Drive to the promenade. Parking for a small fee directly at the promenade.

From March to October the temperature is pretty good. When you are lucky you can have some days that you don`t have to wear a wetsuit. But normally you definitely need a wetsuit. In the months November to February it's winter time. Only die hards go out kiting with caps and hats.
