Beach and Tide Conditions
Lahinch, Ireland is a Medium waves and Big waves spot.
The launching/landing area is reported to be of Tidal size.
The beach is long and wide with firm sand and few stones so don't despair if you arrive when the tide is in because the water covers the entire beach as it laps against the large rocks on the shoreline. The beach is only accessible from the promenade and thankfully for those with sporting equipment there are ramps down onto it.
Medium waves, can get big. Be careful during high tide with rocks close to shore. Look out for currents.
