How to get there
Only accessible by boat. Best: Fly in from Sydney to Hamilton Island 2 hour flight then ferry (40min) to Shute Harbour, mainland and Airlie Beach (Party Town). Fly in from Brisbane to Proserpine 1 hour flight (mainland). Or drive, rental car's are available or you can catch a bus from Brisbane (it's a long drive but there are some great kitesurfing destinations along the way). You either have to do a day trip here on a boat, or charter a yacht to get here.
